knee capWe were playing ultimate frisbee to warm up and I try way too hard. I ran into another girl on my own team, fell on the ground and burst into tears. I limped over to the coach and told her just how much my knee hurt.
"It's probably just a bruise. Tough it out. You'll be fine. Go run a mile as fast as you can."
That's when I could walk. By the time I got home, I couldn't walk. I was on crutches for three days and they say my knee cap (the bone) is bruised and I strained some of the tissue that holds it in place. Yay.
Speed Skating season started last night. I can barely walk.
